About me

I am from Sweden. I obtained my PhD in Slavic Studies (“Beyond Pure and Impure Form. Form, Language, and Posthumanity in S. I. Witkiewicz’s The Shoemakers,” University of Illinois at Chicago, 2025, supervisor: Michał Paweł Markowski) and my specialization is Polish modernism. For seven years, I taught Polish language at the University of Chicago. I am currently a lecturer in Polish Studies at Stockholm University. A selection of aphorisms by Stanisław Jerzy Lec has been published in my translation into Swedish, as well as several academic articles translated from Polish to English. In 2026, my translation of "Three Times Kobryn" by Helena Lindskog will also be published, and I am currently working on a translation of "The Shoemakers" by S. I. Witkiewicz into Swedish. Additionally, I translate from Swedish to English.
