She is a writer and translator from Chicago by way of Rymanów Zdrój. A recipient of an NEA Fellowship in Translation, she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Vanderbilt University and an MFA in Literary Translation from the University of Iowa, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow. Her first book-length translation, Queenless by Mira Marcinów (Héloïse Press), was shortlisted for the 2025 TA First Translation Prize. Her translation of Sabina Jakubowska’s The Midwives is forthcoming from Restless books in 2026.
