Lipski, Tokarczuk, Lem, Honek – new editions of Polish books abroad

In 2026, some new translations of Polish books were published abroad, including the Croatian translation of Leo Lipski’s Piotruś, the Italian translation of Szczepan Twardoch’s novel Null, and a selection of poems by Wojciech Bonowicz in English.

As part of the ©Poland Translation Programme, we have recently supported the translations of the following titles:

  • Leo Lipski, Piotruś, translated into Croatian by Dalibor Blažina, Disput (2026)
  • Olga Tokarczuk, Joanna Concejo, Pan Wyrazisty, translated into Slovenian by Jana Unuk, Mladinska knjiga (2026)
  • Stanisław Lem, Powrót, trans. Abel Murcia, Katarzyna Mołoniewicz, Impedimenta (2026, Spain)
  • Szczepan Twardoch, Null, translated into Italian by Silvano De Fanti, Sellerio Editore (2026)
  • Urszula Honek, Białe noce, trans. Maryla Laurent, Editions Grasset & Fasquelle (2026, France)
  • Wojciech Bonowicz, Wiersze wybrane (Song at Half Past Three and Other Poems), translated by Elżbieta Wójcik-Leese, Literary Waves Publishing (2026, Great Britain)
