Anthology of Halina Poświatowska’s Poems in Spanish and Other Translations of Polish Books

Thanks to the ©Poland Translation Programme, several new translations of Polish books have recently been published abroad. Among them, noteworthy are a series of translations into Slovak, as well as the translation of Halina Poświatowska’s Wiersze wybrane, published by Báltica Editorial and translated by Xavier Farré and José María Faraldo.

Additionally, recent translations include the following titles:

  • Miasto Tańczącego Karpia by Aleksandra and Daniel Mizielińscy into German (trans. Hannah Gemmel, Moritz Verlag, Germany),
  • Chłopki by Joanna Kuciel-Frydryszak into Slovak (trans. Karol Chmel, Absynt, Slovakia),
  • Na wysokiej połoninie, t. 2, ks. 1 (Zwada) into Czech (trans. David Zelinka, Malvern, Czech Republic; ebook),
  • Null by Szczepan Twardoch into Slovak (trans. Alexander Horák, Absynt, Slovakia),
  • Podróż po Ziemiach Odzyskanych by Zbigniew Rokita into Czech (trans. Martin Veselka, Absynt, Slovakia),
  • Tematy żydowskie by Stanisław Vincenz into Hebrew (trans. Marta Stankiewicz, Carmel, Israel).
