On April 16, Adam Fyda met with students at the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles), and two days later he attended a screening of Andrzej Żuławski’s film On the Silver Globe.

The event also featured Pierre Van Cutsem, the translator of Lunatycy, a comic based on Jerzy Żuławski’s classic novel On the Silver Globe. The translation of the comic by Adam Fyda and Marek Ospalski was published last year by Editions Blueman.

The screening drew significant interest, attracting an almost full house. Afterward the author signed books.

The author’s trip was supported by the Book Institute as part of the Nonstop – Polish literature abroad program. The Book Institute also funded the French translation of Lunatycy under the ©Poland Translation Programme.
