Believe in Yourself, Pink! A book about confidence and inner motivation for children and a bit for parents, too is the fourth book in the extremely popular Polish series. Aside from the visual aspect, which in itself is a good enough reason to have it close at hand – it combines an important message with an excellent form of presentation.

Each chapter is a compelling story which is followed by simple and very suitable exercises. At the same time, it’s also one piece in a puzzle making up the psychological well-being and psycho-social skills of the title. Everything is presented and organised in such a way that even the eyes of sceptical adults will open wide to the fact that so-called soft skills aren’t of secondary importance, but are absolutely fundamental. For that is the essence of self-confidence: it’s a sense of certainty that whatever happens I’ll have your back. Caring for oneself doesn’t mean being selfish; instead, it guarantees one’s own mental health and importantly, means we care for others. And few can introduce all that to kids (and adults, too) as well as Pink does.
