There has never been a mission like it – the type of very important mission that features a UFO, told through drawings full of energy and a story packed with wit.
Here, regular life turns into unexpected surrealism. An ordinary neighbourhood becomes the setting for extraordinary events. Przemek Wechterowicz proposes a wonderful experiment in worldview perspective and brilliantly builds towards the climax of the narrative. Marta Ignerska presents these concepts in an originally constructed, para-comic sequence featuring scenes of graphic reportage about what happens when Earth is just a stopover on an intergalactic journey. The quivering contours – as if the line were attached to an electric current or under the influence of a magnetic field – are accompanied by blurred spots and streaks, pulsating with the cosmic energy of fluidly changing colours. A total trip!
