Hotel Polski shows a fascinating image of the traditional Polish mind-set. It also raises an intriguing subject: the myth of the Reclaimed Territories (in other words the former German land), while the detailed, literary descriptive writing that we have already encountered in Liskowacki’s previous work is a real force in this newest collection of short stories by the author of Eine kleine [A Small One].
