Bye-bye, Balloon! is a cardboard book that – although created for very young children – is sure to interest readers of all ages. It’s the story in words and pictures of the flight of a yellow balloon.
Its journey begins in a child’s room full of toys. When the balloon floats out of an open window it seems huge. Then, as it moves away, it becomes smaller and smaller. Every page of the book is like a photograph of the drifting balloon, and at the same time an invitation to see the world from various perspectives.
The book will retain readers’ interest – you can name the world with it, explain abstract concepts, develop creativity, and exercise the imagination, perceptiveness, attention and concentration.
