Roch the Raven can’t stand the way he looks. He hates his dark plumage and wishes he had colourful feathers like Lola the parrot!

This story takes its cue from the fable tradition, adopting the classic character of the raven to an educational setting. Roch decides to do something about his dream, with a few hiccups along the way. Eventually, he figures out that every colour on Earth has its purpose. He also ends up falling in love and doing everything he can to form a bond of love and honour. What is more, he learns to earn and respect the friendships he has with the other animals around him. In conclusion, just like in a classic fable, things go topsy-turvy before it all gets better. The heart-warmingly optimistic story and playful illustrations have won this book much acclaim and awards.
