The Cat Crew is a collection of friendly cats, who – in spite of their questionable name – solve mysterious crimes.
They have racked up plenty of successes, e.g. the discovery of the herring thief, clearing up the mystery of the ghosts in the theatre and the attack on the postman. The Cat Crew work closely with Superintendent Psota and Constable Walerka Koczy, who help them to catch the craftiest criminals. Although the protagonists’ adventures usually take place in the narrow, picturesque streets of Cieszyn, this time the Crew head all the way to Venice. Very quickly their vacation turns into the thrilling pursuit of thieves of valuable books. Commando, Lolka, Morpheus and the rest of the feline pack move among the beautiful buildings of Venice, conducting a perilous investigation. Readers of The Cat Crew will be cheering on the protagonists, simultaneously laughing at the hilarious dialogue and often returning to the colourful, detailed illustrations.
