The artist isn’t just an experienced authority on folk culture, but also an enthusiastic practitioner. She travels the Polish countryside with its living traditions, taking part in festivals, masquerades, rituals and other customs. In her latest book, she invites readers to wander with her from the regions of Podlasie to Lower Silesia and from Podhale to Kashubia.
