What a wonderful composition! A story about a gifted, extremely sensitive child combined with beautiful, colourful images created using a variety of techniques.

The book not only allows you to see the music, but it gives value to this seeing. It shows how we can also experience the special gift of hearing that is the privilege of the few, often associated with great sensitivity. Many worlds can be created while reading or listening to this story: a world of children building positive beliefs about themselves; a world in which music gives them the power to act and allows them to appreciate their uniqueness; a world whose inhabitants want to share in this power. Marianna Oklejak also brings to life a world of visible sounds, for which I am extremely grateful. I didn’t know that it existed. Her trademark freedom in combining techniques brings to mind a childlike courage in creation, showing that in art, the rules are there to be broken, and the boundaries between artistic fields should be blurred. Both the text and the accompanying images are reminiscent of another foundation of a worthwhile existence – the creation of beauty and the joy that accompanies it.
