Dr Tul’si (Tuesday) Bhambry was born in Poland, went to school in Germany and India. She studied English and French language and literature in the UK and France, obtained an MPhil in European literature in Cambridge and a PhD at UCL (2013). In 2015, she won the Harvill Secker Young Translators’ Prize. She translates from Polish and German: poetry, prose, comics, as well as academic writing on literature, culture, history and politics, psychology and art; she translates historical documents and publications related to anti-discrimination. She is also a sworn translator and multilingual interpreter. She enjoys taking part in panels and moderating debates at literary festivals. USPs: experienced editor, loves to engage with intellectually and linguistically challenging work, at home with philosophies of translation and bias-free language.
