Tatev Khachatryan

I am a youth mentor and educator who studied Educational Management at the Jagiellonian University as a recipient of the Lane Kirkland Scholarship. During my studies, I discovered the beauty of the Polish language and culture and fell deeply in love with both, a connection that has since become an important part of my life and work.

Since 2019, I have worked as a translator of Polish, in addition to being fluent in English and Russian, and currently learning French. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in International Relations from Yerevan State University, as well as a Master’s degree in European Studies.

Since 2019, I have specialized in translating Polish poetry and contemporary Polish and Armenian literature. In recognition of my work, I was awarded the prestigious Gaude Polonia Scholarship by the National Centre for Culture of Poland.

I actively promote Polish culture in Armenia and Armenian culture in Poland, building bridges of understanding and cultural exchange between the two nations.

In addition to my translation and cultural activities, I play the organ and practice archaic yoga.
