Ph. D in Slavic Philology by the University of Barcelona. Professor/researcher at the Slavic Philology Section of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and English Studies at the University of Barcelona. His research covers topics related to Polish, Russian and other Eastern Europe Literatures, specially Witold Gombrowicz’s works. He published amongst other: Witoldo wyobrażony (Instytut Badań Literackich PAN, 2022) and Reception of Witold Gombrowicz’s works in Argentine and configuration of his image in the Argentine cultural imagination (TDX Universitat de Barcelona, 2008), two update chapters at the History of world literature by M. Riquer and J. M. Valverde (2009) and several articles in different international scientific indexated publications such as Teksty drugie and Hispamerca. As a translator of Polish Literature he translated several books of authors such as Gombrowicz, Masłowska, Kapuściński and currently Borowski.
