She is a translator, prize-winning poet, and co-editor of Wet Grain magazine. She is a winner of the Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize and the author of Hind Mouth (Earthbound Press) and Ultraviolet with Landing Marks (Oblique House). Her debut poetry collection, Tang, is forthcoming from Faber & Faber in 2027.
Łuczaj is an alumna of NCW’s Emerging Translator Mentorship; a graduate, with distinction, of the Creative and Life Writing MA at Goldsmiths, University of London; and holds a first-class degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Glasgow. She has read for PEN America as part of Women in Translation Month, been a panellist at London Book Fair and Miłosz Festival, and held residencies at the Polish Book Institute, the Wisława Szymborska Foundation and Cove Park.
