She passed her A-levels at the Liceo classico “Mariotti” (a grammar school specialising in the humanities) in 1983 with the highest mark of 60/60. She graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Perugia in 1988 with the highest mark (110/110 with distinction and the option to publish my master’s thesis). Her master’s thesis was on Polish spelling and orthography. Professor Aldo Cantarini was my supervisor.
Bulletti was a scholarship holder at the “Polonicum” Institute of the University of Warsaw in 1984, 1985, 1987 and 1988. After graduating, she spent three months at the University of Vienna (Universität Wien), at the Institute of Slavic Philology (on a scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
