PhD, DCs, professor at the Institute of the Polish Language of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków. Graduated in Slavic studies at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, and from a folklore course at the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the training course for foreign teachers of Polish at the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków, and doctoral studies in linguistics. Holder of scholarships from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2009-2013), Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2016, 2018), Lanckoronski Foundation (2024, 2025) and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (2025). My academic interests are focused on border studies, especially the Baltic-Slavic borderland; I am the author of three monographs (one as a co-author) and 90 articles.
