He has lived in Sweden since 1969. High school with a profile in classical languages – Latin and Greek. Studied linguistics, Slavic languages, English. ”Filosofie kandidat”, 1982 (equal to Bachelor of Arts). Translates from Polish, Italian, Russian and English into Swedish. Also a photography artist. Exhibitions and books. Author of the etymology column “Ordagrant” (a play on words, meaning “literally” and “speaking artfully”) in Karavan, a Swedish literary quarterly focused on literature from beyond Europe, since 2018.
