I am a literary translator from Polish into Turkish. My work focuses primarily on poetry and contemporary drama, as I feel most at home with texts that embody rhythm, musicality, and linguistic fluidity. I have translated a selection of Wisława Szymborska’s poems, establishing a creative presence for her work in the Turkish language. I have also translated plays by Michał Walczak, Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk, and Artur Pałyga, which have been staged across Turkey. My translations of Fryderyk Chopin’s letters were featured in an art installation organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Istanbul. I am a laureate of the Book Institute’s competition for my translation of a short story by Andrzej Stasiuk, and in 2025, I participated in the Translators’ Collegium program in Krakow. Alongside my work as a translator, I am currently working on my first original novel.
