Anna Blasiak

Polish English

Anna Błasiak is a poet and translator, and an editor at the European Literature Network in the UK. She runs the literature section at the Polish Institute in London and her own press, Sideways Press. She has published two bilingual poetry collections with photographs by Lisa Kalloo — Kawiarnia przy St James’s Wrena w porze lunchu / Café by Wren’s St‑James‑in‑the‑Fields, Lunchtime and Rozpętanie / Deliverance — as well as the interview‑book Lili. Lili Stern‑Pohlmann in conversation with Anna Blasiak. She translates prose, poetry and creative nonfiction between Polish and English; reviews translated books into English for the European Literature Network, where she also runs the poetry column Poetry Travels and the blog The Polka and the podcast The Polka Podcast, both devoted to Polish literature. She is one of the editors of Babiniec Literacki.
