Raised in  Poland until 1957, currently in  Israel.

B.A. from Tel.-Aviv University in  English and Comparative Literature; M.A. from Haifa University in Curriculum Studies; Graduate of a conservatory in piano performance; Holder of a Certificate in Translation Studies.

Full command of Hebrew, Polish, English, Esperanto.

Translated over 30 books from Polish, 10 dramas published until now and 11 books from English, in various fields.

She wrote a book (in  Hebrew) on Theoretical Aspects of Humor, co-edited (with Avner Ziv) a book on Semites  and Stereotypes – Characteristics of Jewish Humor, and published many papers on Theory of Humor in academic  journals such as  Communication and  Cognition, Journal of Pragmatics, Journal of  Research and Development in Education and others. Published several humorous columns in the popular press.
