Agnieszka Piotrowska is a Polish translator based in Cairo, specializing in Arabic and Polish literature. She holds a Ph.D. in Arabic literature from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and is the founder of The Polish-Arabic Library (www.egipcjanka.pl). Since 2021 the foundation has been publishing a series of Arabic literature in Polish translation, aiming to introduce Polish readers to a high-quality selection of works. Since 2012 she has been actively involved in promoting Polish literature at festivals and book fairs across the Arab region and collaborates with numerous publishing houses and cultural institutions in various Arab countries.
