(b. 1992) – a poet and translator.

He studied law at the University of Szczecin and graduated in philosophy from the Jagiellonian University. He lives in Krakow.

He is the author of five books of poetry: ‘Wtracenie i inne wiersze’ (Inmersion and Other Poems, 2019), O (2021), ‘Na rogu’ (On the Corner, 2023), ‘Łucznik’ (Archer, 2024) and ‘Żarna’ (Quern, 2025). Inmersion is a philosophical, even Socratic examination of various aspects of reality and ways of using language – the author knocks the reader from all their assumptions. He draws from psychedelic/avant-garde inspirations, and in part from language poetry as well. These approaches continue in O, with special emphasis on experience – Suchanecki’s subject exists in an eternal Now. On the Corner, Dawid Kujawa writes, is a total liberation of the consciousness, ‘an evasion of the authority of automatic discourses’. In Archer, things grow increasingly private. This intimate tale of everyday life holds onto its philosophical vector, and the language remains visionary, Surrealist and vibrating.

Suchanecki is the winner of the Biuro Literackie project ‘The Hunt: Poetry Debuts 2017’. For Inmersion and Other Poems he was nominated for the Wiesław Kazanecki Mayor of Białystok Award (2020) in the debut category. For Archer he was nominated for the Gdynia Literary Award (2025). He has won a Krakow UNESCO City of Literature Award (2025). In 2024, he was recommended by the International Czesław Miłosz Literary Festival for the Versopolis network, uniting European poetry festivals. His poems have been translated into Slovenian, Ukrainian and English. He has translated American poets: John Ashbery and Ariana Reines.

He has published his poems and translations in: Mały Format, Stoner Polski, Zakład, KONTENT, Wizje, Opcje, 2miesięcznik, Odra, Iglica, e-elewator, biBLioteka, Helikopter, papierwdole and Wydawnictwo j.
