He has published the poetry books “To i tamto” (This and That, 1998), “Oni” (They, with Paweł Sarna, 1999), “Ten i tamten” (Him and Them, with Paweł Sarna, 2000), “słodkie żale” (sweet sorrows, 2001), “Wiersze przygodowe i dokumentalne” (Adventure and Documentary Poems, 2001), “performance” (2002), “Pozwólcie dzieciom przychodzić do mnie” (Let the Little Children Come to Me, 2005), “Zawód: Belfer” (Profession: Teacher, 2006), “Chwilówki” (Payday Loans, 2008), “O takim dniu marzyłem” (I’ve Dreamed of a Day Like This, 2023), and the self-edited selection “Wiersze przebrane” (Sifted Poems, 2010). He was the editor-in-chief of the journal “Kursywa”, ran the poetry section of the online biweekly “artPapier” and the poetry series “Kontrapunkty” published by the Młodzieżowy Ośrodek Pracy Twórczej (Youth Art Centre) in Dąbrowa Górnicza. He currently works as the headmaster of VI Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka (the Janusz Korczak High School no. 6) in Sosnowiec.
Paweł Lekszycki’s work has usually been discussed by critics in the context of his double Polish/Silesian identity, and his association with the Silesian poetry group “Na Dziko”. The author’s poems have been translated into German, Czech and Russian, and included in many anthologies.
