Dawid Mateusz
(b. 1986) – poet, editor of books and texts about literature, social activist.
He has published the poetry collection “Stacja wieży ciśnień” (Water Tower Station, 2016). Winner of The Haul 2013 initiative organized by Biuro Literackie. His debut work received the Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna Award (2016) and a nomination for the Gdynia Literary Prize (2017). From 2017 to 2022 he worked in the editorial team of the publishing house Biuro Literackie, led writing workshops under the aegis of his own poetry studio. Co-founder of the Kultura w Pracy (Culture at Work) association, previously involved with the informal art collective Krakowska Szkoła Poezji im. Aleksandra Fredry (A. Fredro Kraków School of Poetry).
His poetry has been translated into English, Czech, Ukrainian and Romanian, and included in many anthologies.
